CAHI is a coalition of Central American and US institutions that aims to catalyze major improvements in the quality, efficiency, and delivery of healthcare services in Central America through improved innovation and health management.
Central America is a region that faces great challenges in providing access to quality healthcare for its citizens. These challenges are exacerbated in rural areas where poverty, political and social marginalization, and a lack of basic services are the norm.
We aim to tackle these intractable problems by promoting access to better healthcare for the poorest Central Americans through the stimulation of innovative approaches and the use of technology in health, the research and dissemination of best practices, and the promotion of efficient management of available resources.
